In Matthew 21:22, Jesus teaches us a profound lesson about the power of faith in prayer. This verse serves as a reminder of the incredible potential that resides within each of us when we approach God with unwavering faith.
In this passage, Jesus has just cursed a fig tree, and it withered away. His disciples are astounded by this display of authority, and Jesus responds with a lesson on faith and prayer.
Jesus says, “And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” This statement underscores the essential role of faith in our prayers. It’s not merely about the words we speak but the depth of belief we have in God’s ability to answer our prayers.

Precious Father, I thank you for the wonderful blessing of praying in faith and the confidence of knowing that your ears are open to hear and answer.
