In this verse, the Apostle Paul reminds us of the incredible blessings we have in Christ Jesus. He encourages us to give joyful thanks to our Heavenly Father for a profound and life-changing truth: we have been qualified to share in the inheritance of God’s holy people in the kingdom of light
It’s important to note that our qualification is not based on our own merit or good deeds. It’s a result of God’s amazing grace. Despite our shortcomings and imperfections, God, through Christ, has deemed us worthy to be partakers of His glorious inheritance.
This inheritance is not of this world but is stored up for us in the eternal kingdom of light. It’s an inheritance of immeasurable value and eternal significance, far surpassing any earthly riches.
Our response to this incredible grace should be joyful thanksgiving. Gratitude should fill our hearts as we reflect on the magnitude of God’s love for us. We have been chosen to share in the blessings of His kingdom
As recipients of this inheritance, we are called to live in the light. This means walking in righteousness, love, and holiness, reflecting the character of our Heavenly Father.
Today, pause to thank God for His grace, which has qualified you for an inheritance beyond your wildest dreams. Live in a manner worthy of this calling, shining as lights in a world that desperately needs the hope and love found in Christ.
PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, i thank you for the incredible grace that has qualified me for a share in your glorious inheritance. Help me to live in a way that honours this calling, reflecting your light and love in a dark world. In Jesus’ name. Amen
